Toch trekt dit dorp internationale allure met de Tuinen van Appeltern, het grootste tuininspiratiepark van Nederland dat jaarlijks duizenden bezoekers verwelkomt. Struin door het pittoreske dorp en kijk uit op de Gouden Ham. 

    De Gouden Ham

    De Gouden Ham is hét water- en recreatiegebied in Maas en Waal. Huur een sloep of boek een rondvaart op de Gouden Ham. Maar ook leent de Gouden Ham zich perfect voor zwemmers en watersporters. Op het naastgelegen strandje bij Moeke Mooren kunt u heerlijk gezien en recreëren aan het water. Vanaf het panoramaterras van Moeke Mooren heeft u een prachtig uitzicht over het natuur- en watersportgebied.
