Cancellation conditions and/or conditions Moeke Mooren due to changes

  1. Cancellation conditions
  • Cancellation means the necessary abandonment of an event booked with Moeke Mooren or De Korenmolen, prior to the date of that event, as a result of a particular event. Cancellation is made by means of an offer to cancel by you and acceptance of this offer by Moeke Mooren/De Korenmolen. Moeke Mooren/De Korenmolen must respond to the offer within 72 hours.
  • Your offer to cancel must be communicated to Moeke Mooren/ De Korenmolen by email at info@moekemooren.com. If cancellation is free of charge, the cancellation may also be made by telephone at 0487-541872.
  • The date and time of your notification to cancel will determine the date and time of cancellation.
  • You may cancel your event, subject to the conditions:
  • That cancellation is made in accordance with articles one and two;
  • That the cancellation is accepted by Moeke Mooren/ De Korenmolen.


   2. Grounds for cancellation
2.1 Cancellation by guests. The guest has the right to cancel his/her reservation in the event of the following events, whereby it is up to the guest to prove this event:
2.1.1. There is a demonstrable serious accident and/or serious illness with immediate danger to life (or a significant risk thereof), or the death of:
- The guest and/or a family member in the first and/or second degree
2.1.2. There is the death of:
- A family member of the guest in the third degree.
2.1.3. There is a demonstrable case of one or more complication(s) during the pregnancy of the Guest or his partner, which occurred prior to the reserved Catering Service and which affect the event.
2.1.4. Unemployment of the Guest or the Guest's partner occurs involuntarily and through no fault of the Guest. The date of leaving employment is no later than 30 days after the event.
2.1.5. There is such damage to the guest's own home(s) and/or business building(s) that you or your partner must remain present at the place of the home and/or business building during the reserved catering service.

  3. Costs in case of cancellation
Escaperoom(s) cancellation:
Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance free of charge. If cancelling less than 24 hours, 50% will be charged. For non-attendance (without cancellation), the full amount will be charged.
Bowling cancellation:
Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance free of charge. If cancelling less than 24 hours, 50% will be charged. For non-attendance (without cancellation), the full amount will be charged.
Cancelling children's parties:
Cancellation is possible until 11.00 in the morning before the children's party starts. In case of non-attendance (without cancellation), 20% will be charged.
Cancel individual restaurant reservations for breakfast, lunch or dinner:
Individual breakfast, lunch or dinner reservations for Moeke Mooren's restaurant can be cancelled free of charge at all times.
High Tea cancellation:
A High Tea can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Changes to the number of guests, may be made free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the full amount will be charged.
Cancelling for reservations on public holidays:
Cancellations can be made up to 7 days in advance free of charge. If cancelling within 7 days, 50% will be charged. For non-attendance, the full amount will be charged.
Cancel a hotel room at Hotel Moeke Mooren or B&B De Korenmolen:
Cancelling a hotel room can be done free of charge up to 24 hours (an arrival time of 2pm is used in this case) in advance.
Within 24 hours before arrival time, 100% of the reservation value will be charged.
Cancelling group reservations:
Different cancellation conditions apply if you have a group reservation (offer) and:

  • Activities have been reserved (escape room, bowling, old Dutch XL games).
  • A set menu has been prepared (high tea, drinks, lunch, dinner, buffet).
  • Pastries have been discussed (petit four, personalised pastries or homemade pastries).
  • A (separate) catering space has been reserved (restaurant, Moeke's living room, the Gruiterij, Korenmolen).


The cancellation conditions for group bookings are:

  • More than 14 days before entry date, you can cancel free of charge.
  • More than 7 days before arrival date: 15% of the booking value
  • More than 3 days before arrival date: 35% of the booking value
  • More than 24 hours before arrival: 50% of the reservation value
  • Less than 24 hours before the arrival date: 100% of the reservation value



Special cancellation conditions Logement De Stoep:
The following conditions are applied to cancellations relating to Logement De Stoep. After a reservation has been made directly or indirectly via Groepen.nl in our reservation system, a reservation made cannot be changed or cancelled without costs. We apply the cancellation conditions of the HISWA-RECRON.

Changes in group size group reservations
Changes of less than 2 persons in the number of guests, may be made free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. Mutations of 2 persons or more may be made up to 7 days in advance without charge.

  1. Diets and allergies

Passing on dietary requirements and allergies can be done up to 48 hours in advance, if you pass on anything within 48 hours, this may incur a cost.
  2. Corona

In case of compulsory closure in the form of lockdown decided by the Cabinet, all reservations may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge. If there is no decision from the cabinet, normal cancellation conditions are applied.
Furthermore, for the formation of agreements, the uniform conditions for the catering industry apply.
